How do I create an account? It only takes a few moments. Most likely you are looking at the Create an Account form right now. You'll be asked to enter a minimal amount of required information:
Do I have to create an account every time an account is required to do something on the website? No, you do not need to create an account every time. In fact, when you login, you can tell it to "Remember Me". This places a cookie on your browser that will identify you in the future for up to three(3) months. This means no logging in at all! What other information is saved to my account? After you create your account, we will save your personal information, each billing address you use and each shipping address you use to help you check out even faster next time you order from us. The only credit card information we store are the last four digits of your card number and the expiration date so that we can reference your transaction with our credit card authotization vendor in the case of a problem with your order or a refund. Miller Heiman does not store your full credit card information at any point when using our website. This also means that none of our employees have access to the rest of your credit card number either. This is extra insurance to guarantee that your information remains safe. Is my account secure? The personal information you enter in your Miller Heiman account is protected using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. We use this technology to prevent your information from being viewable as it is transmitted over the Internet. The encrypted data passes through a secure website to a restricted-access, secure database at Miller Heiman. You can also view our privacy policy. Can I view my order status or order history in my account? Yes, once you have confirmed your account, you can login to our store and click on the My Account icon at the top right of the page. In the My Account section of the store, you can update your account information, view your order history and view your alumnus information with us if you have attended any of our sales training workshops. Why do I need to confirm my account to view my information? To ensure the security of your personal information, you must confirm your account by clicking on a link that is sent to the email address you used to register for an account. Only then will you be able to view or change any information about you or your account. I forgot my password, how can I get help with that? Click here to enter your email address. The system will then tell you what the password hint you entered was. If you still cannot remember your password, from that page you can click a link to have your password emailed to the email address you registered the account with. |
